Char's Cajun Spaghetti .. My most requested recipe by far. It is not my own though.
I found it one night while looking up recipes on the net. It was posted by a wonderful
lady named Char, all credit goes to her. Several of the recipes on this page came from
her site. Please take the time to check out her great site listed on my links page.
Aunt Edna's Homemade Cajun Spice .. From the now defunct CajunintheKitchen.com
website.
Please take the time to make this. It is so much better than pre-made store
bought Cajun spices. Used in the Cajun Spaghetti recipe. Use as a general seasoning too!
Char's Cajun-Mexican Cornbread .. Another of Char's recipes. This is a main meal.
Thick and very filling. Top it with sour cream and the salsa of your choice.
CrockPot Italian Beef .. Delicious and so easy to prepare. Hard to believe its so easy!
Quick n Easy Potta Beans .. The name says it all. Only 4 ingredients and so very tasty.
Zesty Sloppy Joes .. Makes a big batch. Freeze some for later or invite more friends.
Coon Ass Sandwich .. Meaning of the term aside, this is one seriously good sandwich.
Tastes great like it is, or let your imagination run wild. Works great with chicken or
beef fajita, taco and pizza fixings. Just use the basic recipe as a starting point.
Baked French Toast .. Hey, steel workers gotta eat breakfast too! Prepare this the
night before, pop it into the oven in the morning and let the smell fill your house.
Texas Firecrackers .. This one is for my buddy Sparky. You control the heat in these
by the amount of cyan pepper you use. I like a heaping ½ tablespoon myself.
Rumor has it some people like to go crazy and use 1 ½ tablespoons.
Crockpot Chicken & Black Beans .. Another one that is just too good to be this simple.
Salmon Patties .. For you Denny, sorry it took so long to put up. These actually went
over much better than I expected. They seem to bring back a lot of childhood memories.
Crockpot Sweet & Sour Meatball Sandwiches . . Very simple. My take on the famous
chili sauce and jelly recipe.
Kelly's Chili Recipe .. Who's Kelly? I have no idea, but I do know this is the best chili
I have ever had, and I have tasted a lot of chili. I wasn't the only one to say it either
the day it was served in the cafe. It takes a little longer to make, but it is worth it.
Crockpot Chicken Gravy and Stuffing .. Tender and tasty chicken. Makes a lot
of gravy, so be sure to serve with mashed potatoes, more stuffing or some egg
noodles on the side.
Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer .. These are great sliced and served over
rice or loaded on a French roll and eaten as a sandwich.
Cowboy Caviar .. Quick and easy salsa. Tastes so good and is so easy to make!
